Na'eem Cultural Institute, Inc.

Na'eem Cultural Institute, Inc. was established in August, 1999 as a non-profit organization providing speaking and training engagements in the areas of cultural diversity, rites of passage training, alternative methods of healing, conflict resolution, violence prevention, women's issues, youth prevention programs, family planning, and job skills development.

NCI, Inc. was founded by Sister Make'da Fatu Na'eem, who has dedicated her life to over twenty years of community service. Ms. Na'eem is a licensed social worker for the State of Ohio, a certified Ohio Violence Prevention Specialist, a certified Africentric Rites of Passage Trainer, certified Africentric HIV/STD prevention specialist, mediation specialist, and community leader. She is also a devoted wife, mother of two sons, and three grandchildren. She received her education at Ohio State University, where she received an undergraduate degree in Developmental Psychology. She also received a dual degree from Columbus State Community College in the areas of Business Management and Banking and Finance. She attended Ohio Dominican College for two years where she specialized in Social Work.

Malik Na'eem, co-founder of NCI, Inc. specializes in the areas of spirituality, relationships, family development, and job skills training.Bro. Malik does a dynamite presentation entitled "Surviving the Game", which is an Africentric Rites of Passage process for Afrikan American males; particuarly those who have been victims of incarceration.
